Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Testream, including the Testream website, dashboard, backend API, and integrations such as the Atlassian Forge app for Jira (“Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for securing any API keys issued to you.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Billing is handled through Stripe, and your subscription tier may affect feature limits and access.

Unless otherwise required by law, fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refund guarantees.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or attempt to bypass security controls.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Services.
  • Share or resell access to the Services except as explicitly permitted by Testream.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates privacy laws.

5. Customer content

You retain ownership of the test data and other content you submit to the Services (“Customer Content”).

You grant Testream a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and operate the Services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit Customer Content and that doing so does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

6. Proprietary software and closed source

The Services (including the Testream software, code, and documentation) are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited right to use the Services, not ownership of any Testream intellectual property.

7. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with third-party services such as Atlassian Jira and Stripe. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms, and Testream is not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TESTREAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Services, users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will stop, and you may lose access to Customer Content.
